Write these things upon the sand:
Tears that fell when a friend deceived;
blood that poured when a true
heart died;
pain for the life that always believed
that goodness and love
in all things abide.
Grief when a loved one passed away
and the voice in
the core of your heart cried.
Desolation when you sadly discover
that in
this world so vast and wide,
one is alone so many times
with no one around
to walk by your side.
Write these words in solid rock:
The sun as it sets in rose-red hues,
the birds as they cheerily wake the
day;
flowers whose goal is to reach the sky,
trees in the breeze as they
whisper and sway.
Love that comes to our hearts and lives
to enrich our
days and forever stay;
and Words, to join our lives and dreams,
share love
and beauty, to heal and pray.
Write sadness in sand for 'twill soon pass away;
write on the rock of joy
and love to last forever and a day.
